Stella Privacy

Stella is a private shopping shortlist. The app and Chrome extension store the information needed to save, organize, and compare product finds you choose to add.

What Stella Stores

Stella can store your account email, saved product names, product URLs, notes, statuses, categories, style tags, and product images. Images are stored in private app storage and are shown back to you through short-lived signed URLs.

How The Extension Uses Data

Stella Capture runs when you click the extension button. It reads the active tab URL and title, sends that selected product page to the Stella API, and stores your extension session plus recent capture state in Chrome storage.

AI-Assisted Parsing

When configured, Stella may send product page metadata or uploaded image content to OpenAI to suggest item names, colors, categories, materials, and tags. You can edit the saved find before relying on those suggestions.

What Stella Does Not Do

Stella does not sell your saved finds, product URLs, notes, or images. The extension does not read every page you visit and does not capture a page until you click the Stella button.

Your Controls

You can edit or delete saved finds in the app. The extension also includes sign-out and undo controls for recent captures.

Contact

Use the support contact listed on the Chrome Web Store listing, or the support channel provided by the Stella owner for your account.
