Stella is a private shopping shortlist. The app and Chrome extension store the information needed to save, organize, and compare product finds you choose to add.

What Stella Stores
Stella can store your account email, saved product names, product URLs, notes, statuses, categories, style tags, and product images. Images are stored in private app storage and are shown back to you through short-lived signed URLs. If you use the visual wardrobe, Stella can also store original garment photos, cleaned wardrobe stickers, generated outfits, and the item links used to create them.

How The Extension Uses Data
Stella Capture runs when you click the extension button. After you explicitly save, it reads the active tab URL, title, product image metadata, and visible product images. It sends the selected product page plus up to two size-limited product images to the Stella API and stores your extension session plus recent capture state in Chrome storage. If a retailer prevents direct image-byte access, Stella may capture the active tab after you press Save and crop only the selected visible product-image region for that save.

AI-Assisted Parsing
When configured, Stella may send product page metadata or uploaded image content to OpenAI to suggest item names, colors, categories, materials, and tags. You can edit the saved find before relying on those suggestions.

Outfit Images And Likeness
Outfit generation sends only the wardrobe stickers you select and, when you explicitly enable personalization, your selected persona description or reference photo to the configured image provider. Custom reference photos remain in private user-owned storage. Stella does not use a likeness reference when personalization is off.

Image Retention And Reprocessing
Stella keeps the original garment image separately from a cleaned or AI-generated sticker so you can compare results and reprocess later. Generated cleanup remains a proposal until you choose to use it.

What Stella Does Not Do
Stella does not sell your saved finds, product URLs, notes, or images. The extension does not read every page you visit, inject scripts in the background, or capture a page until you click the Stella button.

Your Controls
You can edit or delete saved finds in the app. The extension also includes sign-out and undo controls for recent captures. Outfit personas are opt-in, generated outfits can be deleted, and daily image-generation caps limit accidental processing.
